Japan’s largest event on Industrial Automation, IIoT and Industry 4.0
is now coming to Singapore and Malaysia.
Japan's market leader in Heavy Manufacturing, KAWASAKI Heavy Industries, will be sharing about how machine vision technology is used in their daily processes. Learn industrial applications from only the very best only here at LINX Days!
Realise the vast applications with Halcon 18.11 in the fields of Classification, Object Detection and Semantic Segmentation with live demostrations. Halcon 18.11 offers new and expanded options for embedded vision and updated USB3 Vision interfaces. Core technologies have also improved.
We introduce the world's most advanced technology and industry trends with expert from Japan. Understand how these trends can be relevant to you and your business.
Representatives from each brand will introduce their products and their specifications, followed by application case studies presented by our product managers from Japan.
We will exhibit demostration machines of products distributed by LINX and share user case studies from Japan. Have experts answer your specific product questions.
Learn directly from the pioneer in industrial robots, Kawasaki Heavy Industries! Kawasaki Robots are used widely for welding, assembly/handling, painting and palletizing etc. in a huge range of manufacturing industries, from automotive to electronics / electrical.
To effectively utilize an industrial robot, vision systems are essential. Kawasaki has developed sophisticated vision systems using advanced technologies such as the machine vision library HALCON by MVTec, and 3D smart sensors GOCATOR by LMI Technologies.
In this presentation, Mr Hasegawa will be sharing with us how vision technologies are vital for any type of implementation, based on extensive case studies on industrial robots worldwide. He will also share about trends in the industrial robot market in Southeast Asia and their future strategy.

The new version will include, among other things, new AI technologies, specifically from the fields of deep learning and convolutional neural networks (CNNs). Users are able to train their own classifier using pretrained CNNs included in HALCON. These networks have been highly optimized for industrial applications and are based on hundreds of thousands of images. HALCON 18.11 offers a seamlessly integrated, comprehensive set of deep learning functions for: classifying entire images, object detection, and semantic segmentation. To maximize its potential in industrial environments, HALCON’s deep-learning-based 18.11 can be performed on GPUs, as well as on x86 CPUs.
