The ultra-compact Bobcat-640-CL meets machine vision system designers who need high sensitivity in the SWIR range for specialized quality inspection and high temperature process control.

The Bobcat-640-CL is perfectly suited for high speed imaging at full 640×512 resolution with high frame rates up to 100 Hz. The camera comes with an industry-standard CameraLink interface for data transfer at full frame rate. In windowing mode the frame rate can even be further increased.

The Bobcat-640-CL comes as a complete camera with on-board image processing and Thermo Electric stabilization for low dark current and optimized noise performance, all resulting in superior image quality. A VisNIR option extends the wavelength into the visible realm for best sensitivity in low-light applications.

The pixel pitch of 20 μm makes the Bobcat-640-CL compatible with a broader range of C-mount lenses and other lower-cost lenses.

The Cheetah-640-CL camera is the fastest InGaAs infrared camera in the world. The camera has been designed for applications where high speed imaging matters. Whether for adaptive optics, spectral analysis in the SWIR band, tracking of fast and hot objects, electro-coalescence, etc.

This unit is equipped with a dedicated high speed InGaAs detector array working up to 1.7 μm and comes in three speed versions: 444, 865 and 1730 Hz. It allows you to visualize the ultra high speed features of your specific research application.

The TE1-cooling reduces dark current and improves signal to noise ratios for contrast-rich and stable imaging performance.

The camera head interfaces to your frame grabbing system via CameraLink (base, full or dual medium – depending on the version).

The Cheetah-640-CL is delivered with a software development kit which offers direct access to various camera settings and allows easy integration with your own high speed image grabbing system.

Evolving threats around the world and the imminent danger of public safety calls for state-of-the-art products designed to perform new functions. The Rufus-640 camera tackles the challenge to operate during day and night and in varying conditions.

Rufus-640 detects short wave infrared (SWIR) radiation between 0.9 and 1.7 μm with a wide dynamic range and wide operating temperature. The Thermo Electric (TE) stabilization reduces the dark current and noise levels. Together with on-board image processing, such as auto exposure and auto gain, Rufus-640 reaches best contrast and high image quality.

These advanced features result in superior situational awareness despite fog, haze or high humidity and during bright daylight or moonless nights utilizing the night glow. The SWIR camera is also very well suited for camouflage detection, long range identification, detection of specific lasers or other markers unlike other technologies.

Xenics’ Rufus-640 is extremely compact and versatile for easy integration in any configuration. The camera can be easily combined with our thermal cameras “Raven”, boosting detection, recognition and identification to unseen levels.

The camera head interfaces to a PC via standard USB 2.0. Each camera is delivered with a graphical user interface, which offers direct access to various camera settings such as exposure time and gain setting. The camera outputs 14-bit data.
